hi,
I wanted to know whether it would be best to stick to the same song or dance routine, as this would show I'm not just a one trick pony, or would it
do damage if the judges are not so keen on it as the one that got me through?
thanks

Of course if you are not a one trick pony then your other dance/song etc would be just as good as the one you first sang, so you will be ok.
Watching the tele though, with these sorts of competitions, the song you pick can make an awful lot of difference, so think long and hard about it.

You need to perfomr what you feel to be your strongest piece. Do not be bothered about your previous performance unless you feel there are some flaws.
The judges for the semis may not be the same as the heats and with there having been so many perfromances it is less likely that if there are some
return judges they will recall your first performance. That said however, if you were really really exceptional they will remember your performance
and if this is the case you may wish to stick with what works well. Should you then reach the final i would remommend a new piece then....good luck
